Curriculum : Honors
Keystone's Honors courses offer academic challenges above and beyond our normal courses. Honors courses are ideal for college-bound students who want to gain a competitive edge when applying to their schools of choice, or for any ambitious student who desires to demonstrate that he or she has mastered a subject more deeply.
Honors Courses:
- Generally take an additional 20 hours of study to complete, as they require more focus on gaining, testing, and applying higher-order thinking skills.
- Require students to interpret information, create their own examples, design solutions to problems, and analyze cause and effect.
- Are full-credit courses and are available online.
Honors courses currently available include: English 1, 2, and 3; Civics; World History; Economics; American Government; Geography; Biology; Chemistry; and Earth Science. AP Courses are also available.
