AP Courses Now Available
Keystone National High School now offers Advance Placement courses in 17 subjects, including English, History, Economics, Mathematics, and Science.
What Are AP Courses?
AP Courses are college level courses taken as a part of a high school program. AP courses offer advanced students the opportunity to take courses with more challenging college-level content. Students who complete AP courses are eligible to take the AP exams, administered each May by the College Board.* These exams are scored on a scale of 1–5. Students scoring between a 3 and 5 may qualify for college credit at most colleges and universities.
Why Take AP Courses?
There are many reasons to take AP courses, including a desire to:
- Demonstrate to college admissions officers your ability to excel in college level coursework.
- Emphasize your commitment to academic pursuits.
- Prepare for the AP exams and the possibility of receiving college credit at schools nation-wide.
Are AP Courses Right for Me?
If you are a junior or senior in high school, you have successfully completed advanced courses in core subjects (including successful completion of an Honors course), and you are college-bound, then contact Keystone to discuss enrollment options for AP courses!

Deadline for homeschooled students and students whose schools do not offer AP to contact AP Services for a list of local AP Coordinators at whose schools they could arrange to test. |
March 7, 2008 |
Eligibility Forms for students with disabilities whose forms require the School Verification process must be determined complete by this date. |
March 15, 2008 |
Deadline for homeschooled students and students whose schools do not offer AP to contact AP Coordinators identified by AP Services. |
