Why Keystone : National and Regional Accreditation
Accreditation is the academic world's way of ensuring high quality educational programs and services. Through the accreditation process, institutions are recognized for meeting required quality standards in all areas of their work: academic programs, teacher support, student services and more.
To become accredited, a high school program must complete an extensive process that includes visits by a team of administrators and teachers sent by accrediting bodies who complete a deep evaluation and review of all the programs and services of the school.
Keystone National High School is nationally and regionally accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools and the Distance Education and Training Council. These organizations periodically re-examine accredited schools to verify each school's ongoing commitment to quality. Keystone National High School was re-accredited by the NAAS and DETC in January 2005.

As a private school, Keystone also is licensed by the State Board of Private Licensed Schools, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. This means that Keystone has met the requirements of the Private Licensed Schools Act of Pennsylvania.
In addition to accreditations and licensure, Keystone has earned the Homeschool.com Seal of Approval for 2007 and the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA) 2007 Gold award for Best Practices for Distance Learning Teaching Online. Keystone National High School is a member of the Better Business Bureau.
